2am.tech Joins Forces with Southern Catalonia’s Leading Tech Cluster

We’re glad to share that 2am.tech is now officially a partner of TIC Catalunya Sud (TICSud), the ICT Cluster of Southern Catalonia. The partnership supports our ongoing growth in Europe - particularly in a region that's quickly becoming a key player in the tech space.

What Is TICSud?

TICSud is a public-private business association that brings together more than 80 companies from the tech, services, chemical, and transportation sectors in the Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l’Ebre regions. Altogether, these companies represent over 16,000 jobs and generate roughly €1.4 billion annually.

Since its founding in 2014, TICSud has worked to connect local businesses with each other and with public institutions. Its mission is to attract international projects, support skills development, and strengthen the region’s position as a growing tech hub in Southern Europe.

Why We Decided to Partner TICSud

Southern Catalonia isn’t just a stunningly beautiful region - it’s home to more than 32,000 factories, many of which are going through digital transformation. The area also has a strong services sector, with industries like logistics, travel, and hospitality that overlap with some of 2am.tech’s core experience.

Teaming up with TICSud allows us to connect with forward-thinking companies and institutions in the region. We’re especially interested in working on projects that combine local knowledge with our international team’s technical experience. That kind of collaboration can unlock a lot of value - for both sides.

2am.tech’s Growing Presence in Spain

This partnership is part of a wider strategic focus for us in Spain. Over the past year, 2am.tech has made several key moves to expand in the market. We launched a fully localized version of our website, formed a dedicated, highly-qualified Spanish-speaking team, and are actively growing our network of collaborators and clients across the country.

Our services range from custom software development and AI solutions to IT infrastructure consulting and platforms for logistics, mobility, education, healthcare, and e-commerce. That range helps us stay flexible and deliver what each project really needs - something that’s especially important in a region as diverse and fast-moving as Catalonia.
